CLL

In the late 1990's I noticed my energy level changed. I told my Dr, but to no avail. In 2014, I was standing, talking to my son, and wham!, I hit the floor. My left ankle shattered. After 3 surgeries and physical therapy, my quest began to find out why my bones were so frail. I saw a neurosurgeon, and on July 20,2016 I was diagnosed with CLL. I was fine until Dec 2020, and it's been a nightmare ever since.

  1. This must have been so frightening! How are they treating your leukemia? Fatigue and bone pain are frequent symptoms of leukemia, and you aren't alone in having bone breaks from the growth of the blood cancer cells inside the bone. You may be interested in this story of a similar experience of broken bones that happened to one of our health leaders on our sister site, Blood-Cancer.com. Warmly, Kathy (Team member)
