Medical Marijuana
I need this to help with my cancer I was diagnosed with cancer in 2014 and again 2024. If this is medical what is being done to help with this issue?
My palliative care team made it so easy for me to get a medical marijuana card it helps me with pain and anxiety but I'm not able to use it now because I have to go outside and I don't have the energy to do that so every aspect of my life is worse and I start hospice today 😭
I am sorry that your lack of energy prevents you from using the medical marijuana that has given you so much relief. Perhaps your hospice team will be able to help you obtain it or have another way to offer you relief. Symptom relief and comfort is a key benefit of hospice. Warmly, Kathy (Team member)
I have a medical Marijuana card from the Missouri are you saying I need a prescription from the Medical Marijuana doctor or my oncologist?
Each state has different laws, but if you have a prescription, I bet you are good. For your earlier post, I didn't realize you already had a prescription. If you haven't already, I would suggest you notify your oncologist in case there are any interactions between the medical marijuana and your treatments. All the best, Kathy (Team member)
