My dear friend left me when I really needed her

There was a huge misunderstanding, long story. I apologized profusely and repaid her son back the money. She says she is a Christian but I am not seeing any evidence of it in her life? She is struggling with forgiving me and she doesn’t feel comfortable getting together just to talk. I finally told her that I have done all I can do to make it right. I’m putting this in Gods hands. Take care of yourself and I’ll see you around sometime maybe. And I changed my phone number.

  1. I am so sorry you are going through this. Cancer ghosting is something many of our community members experience, but It's very difficult when that's complicated by misunderstanding. By definition, cancer ghosting refers to family and friends disappearing during a patient’s diagnosis and treatment. It can leave the patient feeling deeply hurt and confused. I hope you have others in your life to give you the support you need. Warmly, Kathy (Team member)

    1. thank you so much! I’m slowly becoming better and getting closer to being over it. I pray about it every day and I keep giving it back to Him in His capable hands. The hard part will be this fall and Christmas, if I can get through that I feel like 2027 will be a much better year for all of us. I appreciate your support! Take care!
